Southern Michigan Bank and Trust hosts 3rd Community Service Day
Southern Michigan Bank and Trust (SMBT) recently participated in our third annual Community Service Day, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact in the local communities that we serve. This year’s event, held on October 14th, brought together bank employees, community members, and local organizations for a day dedicated to volunteerism and community betterment.
Since launching the initiative in 2021, SMBT has made it a tradition to set aside a full day where employees across its markets come together to participate in service projects. This year's activities ranged from cleaning local parks and helping at food banks to supporting senior centers and providing financial literacy workshops at local schools.
We encourage everyone to get involved in their communities. Supporting local non-profits is critical to building a strong and more compassionate community.
