Scott has over 22 years of banking and management experience. Most recently, he held the position of Branch Manager at FlagStar Bank, as well as various sales and managerial positions with Greenmark Equipment John Deere, Autopark Ford, and Dave Smith Pontiac Buick GMC. Reed is a graduate of Portage Northern High School and resides in Sturgis.
Jodie served as Vice President/Mortgage Loan Originator at Southern for twenty-one years before leaving to own and operate her own business, Fit Zone for Women in Sturgis. After eleven years, she sold her business and made the transition back into the banking world as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones, before her return to Southern. Jodie loves helping people purchase/build the home of their dreams. Her experience in the lending field allows her to streamline the home ownership process as well as quickly completing refinances and home equity loans. Jodie serves as a volunteer peer counselor at Beginnings Care for Life Center in Coldwater, is a member of the Sturgis Women's Club and is on the Ladies Ministry Board at her church. Additionally, she enjoys motivating others to improve their health by instructing fitness classes at Doyle Community Center and Great Lakes Health & Fitness.
Matt joined Southern in 2016 after practicing as a financial planner for 11 years. He has held his CFP® designation since 2009, and earned his CTFA designation in 2018. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance and Personal Financial Planning from Western Michigan University. Matt currently serves on the board of Trojan Junior Baseball and can often be found coaching one of the many sports his kids play.
