SMBT Steps Up for Branch County Humane Society

At SMBT, we believe in taking action when our communities need us most! When a team member from our Coldwater branch learned that the Branch County Humane Society urgently needed to replace two furnaces and a hot water heater, we knew we had to help. Our team quickly organized a Jeans Day Fundraiser, where SMBT employees donated funds to support the shelter. To amplify the impact, SMBT matched these contributions, bringing the total donation to an incredible $2,774.00!

The Branch County Humane Society is a no-kill shelter dedicated to providing care, love, and second chances to animals in need. Their work ensures that vulnerable pets receive the shelter, medical attention, and forever homes they deserve.

We’re proud to support this vital organization and encourage others to join us in making a difference. Learn more about the Branch County Humane Society and how you can help by visiting their website or stopping by to meet some of the animals waiting for a loving home!
